CloudFusion: Asia’s most connected cloud management (CPM) software

InfinitiesSoft CloudFusion is a hybrid cloud management platform which can support and integrate the resources from over 30 different private and public clouds. CloudFusion allows users to build a hybrid cloud by joining their on-premises private cloud to one or more public clouds. Furthermore, a highly elastic open API interface enables developers to connect and integrate new cloud options as they appear on the horizon, keeping your options open for future developments.

Why CloudFusion?

In the light of different network environments, regulations, and cloud resource over-dispersion, it has become a critical issue for developers on software, mobile, network, or IoT domain worldwide to expand their business on a global scale. While going global, it takes great effort for service providers around the world to deploy their services across territories because limitations arise out of different environments in each and every data center. For the corporate with a great number of virtual machines or hybrid cloud (more than two types of clouds) to manage while needing value-added services and automation, there will be obstacles for operation if cloud resources cannot be managed well. CloudFusion provides an universal interface that can fuse different clouds—including multi and hybrid cloud—on the same platform and enables the user to manage resources effectively with self-service tools. Enterprise users are free from incompatibility worries with their existing cloud platform while adopting different cloud solutions. For users intending to deploy a global service, with CloudFusion, you can reduce hardware cost and complexity on deployment across data centers and shorten the learning curve on adopting multi-platforms.

Service On Demand

  • Self-Service: Users are able to set up virtual machines online, including process, extend, turn on/off, return, search, and modify specification.

  • Automation: To maintain service stability, the administrator can set up automation rules in advance. Computers will automatically react once the designated condition takes place in order to prevent damage when the administrator is not able to deal with the problem  immediately.

  • Scheduler: To reduce  the workload of the IT department and enhance server efficiency, with the CloudFusion scheduler, the administrator can set up VM schedule by year, month, week, day, hour, minute, or second (e.g., turn off idle VM during off-peak hours to avoid resource wasting or potential security issues).

Analytics

  • Resource metering and billing: The administrator can make rental plans for users to choose while defining cloud resources, including the usage of CPU, memory, virtual disk, network traffic, operation system, and application pricing, in order to get a full grasp of resources.

  • Logging: The system can record all the activities after user log-in for further analytics.

  • Reporting: Report generated by different time slots (day/month/quarter/year) from  financial perspective and by resource usage that helps management comprehend cloud resource status and related expenditure.

Information Dashboard

  • Status Watch: Resource pool stat watch includes (1) applying, not installed yet; (2) installed, not turned on; (3) turned on; and (4) deleted.

  • Monitoring: The system can monitor both physical and virtual servers and present workload with virtualization, including virtual machine's ID, name, OS, status, and IP, and also monitor specific information, such as CPU usage, memory, network traffic, and so on.

  • Notification: With 24-hour constant monitoring and notification, the administrator can set up conditions for notification beforehand. Once the requirement is met, the system can automatically send an e-mail or SMS to notify the administrator (e.g., CPU of a VM reaches 90% for 3 times within 1 min—then notification will be sent).

Administration

  • Admin: The advanced setting of cloud resources to meet your company's operation requirements as much as possible.

  • Access control: A multitier account and access control enable different business units to enter the platform while operating different functions simultaneously, yet each BU's account and access right is independent. The administrator can adjust the access right to resource pool depending on the importance of different units/users or application purpose.

  • Process: There are three built-in workflow processes: VM application, specification change, and return. The administrator can review the process to avoid abuse of resource and ensure resource is allocated properly. After review, the designated VM will be automatically deployed with process proceeding while the applicant will be informed of the result of the review.
